From where you play, to how you play, to who you play with or against, the Golden Tee PGA TOUR 2026 software update is the most feature-rich update Incredible Technologies has ever produced.

As Incredible Technologies celebrates its 40-year anniversary, it does so with an eye on nostalgia, particularly competition and camaraderie, along with a deep exploration into the future of Golden Tee.

New courses, new game modes and new in-game and postgame enhancements make this a must-have, must-play installment. While further information and details will be provided on every new addition highlighted below, here is what to expect in Golden Tee PGA TOUR 2026.

The Launch of “RUN IT” League Software

A feature that has been multiple years in the making, Incredible Technologies will launch its very own custom league software, RUN IT, which will allow both operators and players to create and manage leagues, using a plethora of customization options. It’s the deepest, most ambitious feature Golden Tee has ever produced.

Completely Reimagined Skins Mode

It’s not just a new look. Skins mode has been reimagined on Golden Tee PGA TOUR, which features a new scoring system that gradually increases as the round progresses and the stakes get higher. And, for the first time ever, Skins is now online, meaning players can compete using their unique golfer and equipment of choice.

Two New In-Game Shot Types

Have you ever been jammed near the wall of a pot bunker or wedged underneath a giant tree with little hope of rescue? Of course you have. Now, thanks to the addition of two new shot types, Flop and Punch, players will have the ability to navigate sticky course situations like never before to save their scorecards.

Introducing Shots of the Game Postgame Highlights

From the company that brought you Shots of the Week comes Shots of the Game, a customized countdown highlighting the top five moments in each individual 18-hole experience. After each game, just sit back, relax and see who took home the ultimately bragging rights honors.

New Local and Worldwide Leaderboards

Speaking of bragging rights, a new day of course records and leaderboards are upon us. Each course now has Casual, Online and Global Monthly Leaderboards that can be accessed at the course selection screen, which will highlight the best in the world—and the best on a cabinet—in a variety of categories.

Daily Contest Mania

One of the longest active features in Golden Tee has received a facelift. The Daily Contest will now be home to massive course customization options. From gusty winds to easier (or harder) tee boxes, this 24-hour staple will now receive regular custom modifications that increase (or decrease) the difficulty of its many course stops.

Five New Original Golden Tee Courses

From a cornfield in Decorah, Iowa to the bottom of a canyon in Gunnison, Colorado to the spectacular ancient ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru, Golden Tee 2026’s course offerings are the most original, diverse destinations the game has seen in some time.

One New “Remastered” Course

Back by popular demand, Golden Tee has resurrected one of its most popular courses, King’s Canyon, and brought it new life. This scoreable Australian throwback to 2003 has been rebuilt from the ground up, although the course design that made it an all-time favorite remains completely intact.

One New PGA TOUR Course

TPC Twin Cities, host of the popular 3M Open on the PGA TOUR, will make its long-awaited debut in Golden Tee, with an abundance and water and homes lining the fairways. With a litany of short par-4s and plenty of hazards to navigate, this incredibly popular destination will be a perfect fit in the trackball world.

Three New Re-Teed Courses

Three of the game’s most cherished courses, Desert Valley, Celtic Shores and Elkhorn Ridge, have been given the “Re-Teed” treatment. All three courses have been renovated with new tee boxes and pins, providing entirely new experiences to users who have played them time and time again along with those experiencing them for the first time. These new tee boxes will debut in calendar year 2026 with the release of Club Pass Seasons 12 and 13.

Three New High-Performance Club Sets

Players will have three new custom golf club sets to pick from that will provide a variety of drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and more. The popular Golden Tee World Championship set will also return, and the bag will come from the brain of Clint Grover, our brand new Golden Tee World Champion.

Three New Golf Balls

It’s not just clubs. Players will also have three new custom golf balls to pick from and play with, giving them more tools to conquer the new courses. Put an emphasis on certain club types or try new high-powered Comet ball to see a sizable distance increase on bigger cut shots.

Three New Seasons of Content

From unlockable clothing items to equipment to other customizables, three new seasons of content will be available. Plus, with each season comes unique tees boxes and pin placements across all new courses, offering up infinite replay value.

Three New TOUR Seasons

Golden Tee PGA TOUR’s robust new feature that debuted this past year is back with three fresh seasons, which will provide players with weekly and seasonal incentives to compete for glory and prizes.

Ten New Freaky Casual Courses

For those in search of something freaky, look no further. You don’t need to partake in the Daily Contest to enjoy Freaky Friday courses. Ten new options will launch throughout the year, offering more variety for players to pick from.

New Classic Course of the Week Lineup

With more than two decades of content, Classic Course of the Week is back, refreshed and ready to provide new weekly challenges.

New Banner Milestones

There are now more opportunities to showcase your most meaningful trackball achievements. New unlockable banners have been added to 2026, giving players more chances to broadcast their finest Golden Tee moments.
